Michael Moore, the New Che Guevara?

Michael Moore, with Michigan State University baseball capJean-Michel Caroit reports in this article (Fidel Castro enrôle Michael Moore à son insu, August 6) in Le Monde about the recent state-approved showing of Michael Moore's movie Fahrenheit 9/11 in numerous cinemas around Cuba and even on Cuban state television (my translation):

The documentary's American distributors were quick to specify that the copies shown in Cuba had been pirated and distributed without their agreement, which saves the film's chances [at qualifying for the Oscars]. As for the officials of the ICAIC, the Cuban state organization overseeing cinema, they preferred not to divulge the origin of the copies shown on the island.
Even more striking, on July 26, the anniversary of the attack on the Moncada army barracks, in Santiago de Cuba, the first battle in the Cuban revolution, Fidel Castro quoted Michael Moore in his anti-Bush address.
