Warhol Wins!

The award for outstanding achievement in product licensing, the LIMA, was announced Wednesday evening in New York. The winner was Andy Warhol. Yes, that's right: Andy, the new Elvis. The LIMA awards are like the Academy Awards of the Licensing Industry and could mean huge profits to any person or group that wins. Others in the running were Vera Bradly, the fashion designer; Thomas Kinkade, the painter of light and previous multiple winner; and newcomer Sandra Magsamen, one of my favorites. There's always next year.
