One significant change in the programming for 2006/2007 is that most BSO performances at Strathmore now take place on Thursdays. Saturdays were much more convenient and also gave us the opportunity to have a preview by going to Baltimore for the most important concerts, there. Alas, there is little we can do but complain about too much choice we are daunted with. Clearly a luxury problem.
This is a short list – highly subjective, as always – of what we consider the absolute highlights of the BSO’s upcoming season; either because of the repertoire presented or the artists involved - or, more likely, both. This is the "must-go" list... a more comprehensive one, pointing out other concerts you should consider, will be put up tomorrow.
