It was an honor, a great pleasure, and fun, too, when Libby and Roberta, of artblog, paid a visit to Baltimore last Friday. We have been planning this visit since we met at the Gates of Christo (does anyone remember that?) last fall. Bloggers are very busy types (pun).
I beered and dined them, then gave the A-list tour of my favorite place in town, The American Visionary Art Museum. By the time we left AVAM there was only enough time left to cruise through the Baltimore Museun of Art, then point them in the direction of 95 North.
As with every town there's a lot to see and so little time. Mi-ladies are welcome to return, maybe take in a ball game. The artbloggers/Cone Sisters of Philadelphia have posted a nice piece on their trip South.
This coming Sunday I am reopening the Ionarts Bureau Italia, this time in Venice. My plan at this point is a few days in Venice, then by rental car make a loop to Milan, Genoa, Florence, Padua, to see the man, then return to Venice. The deep pockets of Ionarts allow us to maintain this indepth coverage.
Blogging and lots of pictures along the way, wifi or modem permitting. Any travel suggestions are welcome. Ciao, bella!
