Front Row Washington

Also at Ionarts:
Charles T. Downey, Till Fellner (February 13, 2007)
The "new classical" WETA continues to get better. Since September 10, the station has been broadcasting a new program on Monday nights at 9 pm, Front Row Washington. This will be your chance to hear some recent concerts here in Washington, which you may have missed the first time around (but hopefully read the Ionarts review). The first two installments feature violinist Elisabeth Adkins and pianist Edward Newman (last week) and the Eusia Quartet with pianist James Dick (tonight). The first concert of real interest on the schedule is next Monday (September 24), the recital by pianist Till Fellner at the National Gallery of Art. Ionarts was there last February and thought it pretty special.
